Step 1

At the bridge over the Sou (456 m), follow the road to Massac. After about 700 m, go up on the track to the left. At about 800 m in a curve to the right, a shortcut to the left joins the track higher up. Walk between green meadows and wooded hills.

Step 2

42.946074 2.576759 At the crossroads, leave a path on the left (possibility of reaching the Pierre Droite, 300m to the north, La Clape necropolis: eight dolmens dating from the recent Neolithic era), ignore the Canadian passage, continue opposite uphill in the Coume Jonquiere. Walk along, meeting a few fence passages to the intersection. Go right for about 100 m then continue left in the Coume de Lacamp. At the intersection turn left into the big bend in the track; crossing the plateau passing in front of the ruins of Lacamp. Continue straight ignoring the path on the left and arrive at a crossroads (555 m).

Step 4

Go up it to the left for about 100 m. At the beginning of the curve on the left, turn right on a path. About 30 m further on, turn left onto the track. Ignore all paths left and right, leading to crops. Continue straight on the main track to the D 410.

Step 5

Continue on the road to the right as far as Maisons. Cross the village by the rue du Mont Tauch.

Be careful, the fire risk is often high, especially in summer, and can lead to flower bed closures. Find out before you go consulting the fire risk map for outdoor activities.
Fires strictly prohibited. Do not smoke and never throw cigarette butts in nature. Fires are numerous and catastrophic in our region. In the event of a fire or accident: give alert 18 or 112 from a cell phone.
Protect yourself from the sun and take enough water with you.
Avoid picking flowers and plants. Take all your trash. Close fences and keep dogs on a leash in pasture areas, villages and protected areas.

Mountain bike routes: the routes are often shared with hikers or other users (cars, tractors, etc.). Be careful and always anticipate that a pedestrian may be present around a bend to have time to brake if necessary. Pedestrians have priority in principle, slow down at crossings or stop if the configuration of the terrain requires you to do so.
Thank you and happy hiking!
