First Great Wines Meeting in Corbières Minervois Fitou

Thursday February 16, 2023, at the Espace Culturel des Corbières in Ferrals les Corbières was held on 1^er Meeting of the new destination Great Wines in Corbières Minervois Fitou with nearly 70 participants all related to tourism and agritourism.

Organized by the Pays Touristique Corbières Minervois, holder of the Vignobles & Découvertes label, with the support of the Community of Municipalities of the Lézignanaise Corbières Minervois Region, this first edition had the theme of “sustainable wine tourism”. Mr. André Hernandez, president of the CCRLCM welcomed the audience and then gave the floor to Emile Delpy, vice-president of the CCRLCM and president of the Pays Touristique Corbières Minervois.

2022 report and 2023 projects

It was Anne Marserou, director of the PTCM who presented the results of the first year of the Great Wines destination in Corbières Minervois Fitou, rich in animation and promotion. Then Maud Franchet, the new wine tourism and agritourism animator and animator of the Vignobles & Découvertes network presented the actions for 2023.

The mini-living room

Then came the mini-show which allowed the tourism service providers present (cellars, restaurants, accommodation, organizers of the wine tourism offer, but also cultural and heritage sites) to meet and ask many questions to the tourist partners who have come to answer them.

The floor was then given to Nadine Darson Beretta, director of the Aude Departmental Tourism Agency.

The conference

Then to Marc Jonas, wine tourism consultant, who led a conference entitled “And if we did sustainable wine tourism! ".

The floor was then given to the room.

The round table

To illustrate the conference, Marc Jonas invited Jeanne Fabre, wine tourism director at Château de Luc in Luc sur Orbieu, and Julien Pailhiez, manager of the Pinède campsite in Lézignan-Corbières to participate in a round table.

Finally the morning ended with a rich buffet of exchanges. As for the mini-fair, it continued in the afternoon.
