Historians are not the only ones affected by history. Literature, theater, cinema, no artistic field seems to escape the contemporary necessity of summoning events from the past, of reconstituting them in order to constantly reformulate their story and meaning.
This Spring Banquet is not a university conference. It offers a willingly profuse, sometimes contradictory, often disordered and surprising journey through the ways of reconstituting the historical narrative but also the texts which form its source.
