This region is known for its excellent wines and its many Cathar castles (Abbaye de Fontfroide and Lagrasse, PEYREPERTUSE, Quéribus, Aguilar, the city of Carcassonne). Starting point for many walks and mountain bike rides in the middle of the wine-growing areas and the still wild nature of the Corbières. 20 minutes from Narbonne or the pond of Bages and 30 minutes from the beaches.
