In summer, wander the streets of Lagrasse and discover the Maison du Patrimoine and its exhibition “Forgotten images of the Middle Ages” with Carlos, tour guide (and resident!) of the small medieval town.

A free guided tour of Lagrasse

The visit begins at the Maison du Patrimoine, the office of the Tourist Office. Accompanied by Carlos, tour guide, you will learn to decipher the hidden messages of the “Forgotten Images of the Middle Ages” exhibition. Your guide will sometimes make you look up to admire the restored medieval paintings, sometimes will reveal a detail or an anecdote about these images little known to the general public. Then, you will visit the Saint-Michel church, the particularity of which is that it is disoriented and backs onto the Heritage House. Then, you will pass under the 14th century market hall and wander the streets until you reach the Pont Vieux.
