Your road trip takes you along the Canal du Midi, an unmissable tourist and historical site, UNESCO world heritage site.
The villages bordering the Canal du Midi, with their typically southern architecture, are ideal stopping places with their alleys, shady squares, and small local shops. Paraza, Roubia, Argens but also Homps and its port.
Along the Canal du Midi, the wine estates labeled Vignobles & Découvertes await you.
Want to discover the Minervois appellation ? Stop at the Château de Paraza or the Domaine des Maels (organic wine) and to find out everything about Minervois wines, the Minervois wine house in Homps is the ideal place!

Day 1 – Stage 2 – Tasting between Corbières and Minervois

Between the Canal du Midi and the Corbières and Minervois appellations, you will discover sumptuous landscapes. Stop for a moment to meet exciting winegrowers.
You are spoiled for choice. So follow your instinct, all our estates are labeled Vignobles & Découvertes.
Just a few kilometers from the canal, meet the Château Festiano (Tourouzelle), the Château La Bastide (Escales), the Château Vieux Moulin (organic wines) in Montbrun-des-Corbières.
Lézignan, the capital of Corbières is also teeming with wine estates like the Cooperative cellar le chai des Vignerons. the Château Grand Moulin, the vineyards of Exéa-Château de Sérame and the Château du Grand Caumont.

Day 1 – Stage 3 – Lagrasse, medieval city and abbey

You take place again in your van direction. You are immersed in the atmosphere; winding roads, unspoiled nature.
On the program for this stage, the medieval village of Lagrasse nestled in the heart of the Corbières, its abbey, its producers' market, its craft shops...

Day 1 – Step 4 – Tasting around Lagrasse

In Lagrasse visit the Vinaigrerie Cyril Codina, for an astonishing tasting of vinegar but also of wines.
At a place called Villemagne, discover the wines of Château Villemagne.
Stop at Ribaute, a small village along the Orbieu, come and taste the wines of the Cascades estate or the wines of Château Lalis. Take to the skies at Château Cicero, with a breathtaking view of the Corbières. The latter will be delighted to welcome you and your van for a night in the vineyards.

Stop off in Ferrals-les-Corbières and visit an unmissable and surprising place: the SPIKTRI street art universe museum. A total immersion in a surrealist universe, nearly 2500 works of art (graffiti, sculptures, paintings, etc.) are brought together in the village's former cooperative cellar. Do not miss !
Do you like puzzles, are you curious? so have fun at the Fabre family castle in Luc sur Orbieu with their  Escape Game. To test absolutely!

Day 2 – Step 2 – Tasting around Boutenac

The Voulte Gasparets castle near Boutenac, the Maylandie castle in Ferrals, the Fabre family castle in Luc sur Orbieu and in Saint-André-de-Roquelongue the Bouysse estate and the Saint Jean de la Gineste castle.

You have just left harsh and rugged landscapes to discover the more shady valleys.
The roads take you to villages with perched castles like Durban-Corbières.
Take a few moments to discover the wines of this terroir, the shale wines that will surprise you.
Any addresses to recommend? Of course ! The Castelmaure cellar in the heart of the typical southern village of Embres and Castelmaure. Come and enjoy a drink on its terrace, it’s the ideal place.
Want to taste natural wine? The Grand Guilhem estate in Cascastel.
Want to sleep under the stars in the vineyards? The Lérys estate in Villeneuve les Corbières which will be happy to welcome you and your van to one of its plots for one night.

The Corbières are rich in sumptuous landscapes, around a bend or a hill, you will see the perched castles of Peyrepertuse, Quéribus or even Aguilar, all citadels of vertigo worth a stop.

Day 3 – Stage 2 – Château de Termes

Stop in the car park and continue a few hundred meters on foot, stroll through the alleys and dare to climb up to Olivier de Termes' castle, for a journey back in time... to the time of the Crusades and the Cathars.
Continue on your way to the Château de Villerouge-Termenès, in the heart of the medieval village.
A lunch break is essential, do not hesitate to eat at the medieval grill, dare to eat with your fingers on a plate of bread!
