The theater broadcasts 2 screenings: "Le Curé de Cucugnan" which faithfully reproduces the famous text by Alphonse Daudet and "The keys of Quéribus" which retraces the history and architecture of the Château de Quéribus, with exceptional views shot by drones and commentary from a tour guide. Duration 20 min each.
Cucugnan remains the village of the legendary Curé of Cucugnan, made famous by Alphonse Daudet in "Les Lettres de Mon Moulin".
In the heart of this Hautes Corbières village, the Espace Audiovisuel Achille Mir invites you to discover alternately two screenings of about twenty minutes each:
The first, "Le sermon du Curé de Cucugnan" after Alphonse Daudet, is an animated film which takes over the author's text in its entirety, in an original and poetic staging.
The second, "The Keys of Quéribus" presents an astonishing remote visit of Quéribus, with dizzying views of the site shot by drones, on a very comprehensive commentary by David Maso, guide-lecturer and archaeologist. Unique in the Cathar Country, this audiovisual allows people with reduced mobility to discover the castle or provides additional architectural and historical information when visiting the castle.
