Located about fifty kilometers south-east of Carcassonne, Villerouge-Termenès is the Mediterranean gateway to Hautes-Corbières. Completely restored, this castle is one of the finest examples of military architecture.
An audiovisual visit (F, GB, Esp) entitled "The World of Guilhem Bélibaste, last" perfect Cathar "is offered in the east wing of the castle and allows through the parallel destinies of Bélibaste and Bernard de Farges to explain the Catharism, the power of the Archdiocese of Narbonne and the daily life of the Baylie de Villerouge-Termenès.
The other wing of the castle is reserved for the "Medieval Rotisserie", a restaurant offering XNUMXth century cuisine unique in Europe.
