A few tips before heading out…

You are here in a Mediterranean area, where the fire risk can be high, especially during the summer season, and lead to the closure of massifs. Find out before you go consulting the risk map fire for outdoor activities.
Fires are strictly prohibited. Do not smoke and never throw cigarette butts in nature as this may be enough to start a fire.
In case of fire or accident: give alert 18 or 112 from a cell phone.

Protect yourself from the sun and bring water in sufficient quantity.
Avoid picking flowers and plants et stay discreet to respect the wildlife. Several hiking trails are in areas Natura 2000 where biodiversity is important but also sensitive to disturbance.

Take all your trash.
Close fences and keep dogs on a leash in pasture areas, villages and protected areas.

Thank you and have a good trip!

Management of hiking and mountain biking

The hiking trails are created and maintained by our integration site. The integration project is co-financed by the municipalities, the Community of Municipalities of the Lézignanaise, Corbières and Minervois Region (CCRLCM), the Department of Aude and the DDCSPP.

The Aude department has put in place a monitoring tool to alert the teams in the event of a problem observed in the field (missing markings, tree which would obstruct a passage, damaged footbridge, etc.). You can report any problem observed in the field to us via the meerkat platform to facilitate the intervention of the teams.
