Resident of Corbières, passionate about my job

Based in the Corbières, I joined the Tourist Office in 1994, and since then, my work has been much more than a profession: it is a real passion.

Rooted in this country of villages, the Occitan language is part of my family heritage. Slipping an Occitan word into my exchanges is as natural as it is innate for me. My accent proudly sings the colors of the Aude.

My role? Bringing together a committed team, promoting responsible tourism and enhancing our region. I like to share my experience with professionals in the sector and be a resource for them.

A great hiking enthusiast, I am proud to have contributed to the creation of more than 1000 km of hiking and mountain biking trails, created thanks to our integration project, which has been ongoing since 2001. It is always a joy to meet up with former colleagues who took part in this adventure, who are now involved in local shops or tourist institutions.

My daily commitments as director:

• Manage the team by sharing my knowledge while welcoming new ideas and skills
• Supervise the management of tourist information offices
• Ensure the link with the Community of Communes (CCRLCM)
• Being in contact with tourism professionals
• Working with local associations, particularly those working on heritage
• Prepare and manage the budget in collaboration with Céline
• Since 2023, supporting hosts in collecting tourist tax, a mission that was entrusted to me with confidence by the community.
