The tourist office has always wanted to develop and support the development of responsible tourism. The Aude Tourism Development Agency has proposed, as part of its new tourism strategy with positive impact, to the Aude tourist offices to move towards certification. The Corbières Minervois Intercommunal Tourist Office is one of the nine pioneering offices in this approach.
What is CSR?
CSR stands for Corporate Social Responsibility, in other words, based on a framework, we are committed to improving our impact on social, environmental and economic issues.
Our internal commitments
OTICM has chosen to promote sustainable tourism values by highlighting non-practices
pollutants to discover the territory:
- Tourist positioning on slow tourism : “take your time in Corbières Minervois”
- Encouraging tourism professionals to adopt environmental labeling approaches (Accueil vélo and Accueil Chemins de Compostelle brands on the V80 and GR78, park values brand, etc.)
- More than 1000 km of hiking and mountain biking trails available to the local population and guests staying
- Promoting local products
- Highlighting micro-adventures encouraging soft mobility and responsible consumption
- Promoting local productions in all our communication tools
- Creation of a traveler's charter
- Highlighting the presence of two regional natural parks within the perimeter of the OTI CM

Team mobilization and awareness
- On videoconferences are privileged
