The label " Home Ways of Compostela in France » has been deployed since 2019 in Aveyron, Gironde, Hérault, Hautes-Pyrénées, Lot, Haute-Garonne and Tarn-et-Garonne on the Piedmont Pyrenees path to Santiago de Compostela – GR78. It aims to create a dynamic by bringing together the actors of the route and to guarantee a suitable welcome for pilgrims.

How to join the “Home paths of Compostela in France” network?

I am a host located close (less than 2km) to the route and offering services and welcome adapted to pilgrims.

To sign the charter, prerequisites are necessary:

  • be located less than 2 km from a road to Compostela;
  • offer overnight accommodation;
  • be open at least 6 consecutive months per year between March and October;
  • be declared at the town hall and comply with the legislation in force relating to its activity;
  • be a member or partner of the Tourist Office to which the municipality of residence is attached;
  • respect the criteria of the charter;
  • pay an annual fee of €50.

Which municipalities are covered by the Accueil Chemin de Compostelle label in Corbières Minervois?

The label can be deployed a maximum of 2km around the route. The route to Saint-Jacques de Compostela arrives in our territory through the commune of paraza, it then follows the Canal du Midi, and passes through Roubia, Argens-Minervois and Homps.
