Installed in Fabrezan for more than 20 years, we, with my husband, were “contaminated” by the “virus” of wine and “took the plunge” in 2002; this exploitation acquired in the state of abandonment, was baptized “Domaine du Cerbier”, of the name of one of the plots of Carignan planted in 1921.
"Lo cerbo" means in Occitan, water reserve, and there was a well ... but three pretty rowan trees are located here: surrounded by plots called "the fig tree", "the abalone", it would therefore be possible that "the cerbier" is a transformation of rowan tree in the local dialect ... A lawyer by training, my notions of management and accounting do not seem to have been too much in order to approach this new profession where versatility is required.
