CASTLE VILLEMAGNE

At Château Villemagne, their deep roots in the land are their strength.
You will be welcomed in the cellar of Château Villemagne, a 6th-century building and former priory of Lagrasse Abbey. The team will tell you about the history of the region, the remains discovered on the site (prehistoric objects, Roman amphorae, etc.), the vineyards, and the winemaking process. Winegrowers for six generations, they have a passion for sharing their knowledge.

It is over a drink that you will appreciate the family motto “proud to continue the work of our ancestors”, with the presentation of the farm.
Next, why not explore the trail of the six senses to understand the sensory and cultural universe of the Corbières? 3.5 km long through the vineyards, it will allow you to explore the estate and discover the different grape varieties and the surrounding nature through the signs along the way.

The Château shop offers products made on site: wines, Carthagène liqueur, grape jelly, and grape juice. You can also discover other products from the Aude region: olives from Trèbes, cassoulet from Lauragais, duck confit and foie gras from Belpech, and much more!

To extend the experience, the castle welcomes you for one or more nights in its gîte or on its motorhome area.
