Exceptional heritage and terroir on the banks of the Canal du Midi.
Formerly a grain and olive-growing estate, Château de Paraza's destiny was transformed by the construction of the Canal du Midi, becoming a prestigious stopover and the home of Pierre-Paul Riquet. Since 2005, the Danglas family has been producing AOP Minervois wines there, certified HVE (High Environmental Value), combining respect for the environment with traditional winemaking expertise. A truly memorable experience, all with a view of the Pyrenees.
Numerous activities are available at the Château to help you discover its wines and the Minervois terroir:
- Wine tasting and sales: discover the wines and the history of the castle
- Visit to this place steeped in heritage and winemaking techniques
- Shop selling wines and local products, for discovering its wines and exploring local products.
- Introductory tasting workshop to discover the secrets of oenology and the different grape varieties.
- Tapas and cheese bar to treat yourself in an idyllic setting!
To extend the experience, the Château welcomes you to its magnificent guest rooms, offering both old-world and modern luxury, complete with a swimming pool.
