Initially, there were two wineries in Canet: "La grappe" and "La vigneronne". In 1973, for economic reasons, the two wineries merged to make way for a single cooperative winery: "La vigneronne". The winery mainly produces table wine, Vin de pays d'OC and AOC Corbières.
