Over the past twenty years, several Peasant Shops have opened in Languedoc-Roussillon. The first were born in the Gard at the end of the 1980s, and gradually, the producers of these different points of sale, organized themselves in order to exchange on their respective experiences and to allow the sustainability of their initiatives. This is how this informal exchange network became an association in 1999.

The point of sale has signed the Boutique Paysanne Charter. It is the first peasant shop in Aude, that is to say a brand entirely dedicated to farm and artisanal products produced within a radius of 80 kilometers around the shop. Authenticity, traceability, direct sales, respect for the environment and the consumer are the golden rules. Moreover, it is the farmers and craftsmen themselves who run the shop and welcome the public.
