Although the cottage doesn't have a private outdoor area, you can enjoy meals or an aperitif al fresco with the private garden furniture provided in the alleyway, allowing you to take advantage of the peace and friendly atmosphere. The village offers a warm and authentic local experience. You'll find typical restaurants, a general store with local products, and passionate winemakers who will introduce you to the wines of the Corbières region.

Discover on-site and in the surrounding area: The Château de Villerouge-Termenès, a listed medieval gem, located just steps from the gîte. Enjoy walks and hikes in the Corbières, amidst vineyards, scrubland, and wild landscapes. Nearby: Lagrasse, listed among the most beautiful villages in France, Termes and its ruins, the Château de Peyrepertuse, and the Galamus Gorges. Local markets, artisans, and small restaurants offer the chance to discover the gastronomy of the Aude region.

On the ground floor: A living room with an open-plan fitted kitchen (oven, espresso coffee maker, fridge-freezer, washing machine), lounge area. A separate WC.
Upstairs: A large master suite with a 140x190cm bed and an adjoining bathroom (shower) and under the roof a 2nd bedroom with two 90x190cm beds which is accessed via the large suite.

The house has an open-plan layout, however, there is a door at the entrance to the first-floor bedroom and a large curtain separating the bathroom from the first-floor bedroom. The stairs, particularly those leading to the second bedroom on the second floor, may not be suitable for all travelers (see photos).
