In the heart of the country of Corbières, at the foot of Montagut, the cottage is ideally located on the road to the Cathar castles and between Carcassonne and the beautiful beaches of the Mediterranean. The location is perfect for visiting the treasures of Aude less than half an hour away: the wild beaches of Port-la-Nouvelle, the medieval city of Carcassonne, Narbonne la Romaine and its rich heritage, the African reserve of Sigean or even the Regional Natural Park of Narbonnaise. The Corbières, wine country par excellence opens its doors to you to discover the rich local terroir. As soon as they leave the gîte, lovers of hiking or cycling will be served to discover the magnificent landscapes of the surroundings. The village is home to many shops (grocery store, restaurant, tobacconist, etc.), you won't even need to take the car. This charming residence of character renovated with taste while preserving the old one offers you an ideal comfort during your holidays in the region. The private swimming pool (2x4m, 1,40 deep with a flat bottom) ensures refreshment and relaxation at any time of the day under the midday sun. The large private terrace with its pergola allows you to take your lunch and dinner. The garden furniture and the plancha are at your disposal to fully enjoy. A private garden with deckchair for lounging in the shade under the greenery is also adjoining the gîte. The space is fully fenced for pets. You can park your vehicle in front of the gîte or along the street (very quiet). This character house is fully air-conditioned and modular (each room can adjust its individual temperature), it is on one level. It opens onto a large 70m2 living room with a lounge area (sofas and connected TV), a library with books and films, a dining area and an integrated and fully equipped kitchen. The cottage has 3 bedrooms each with a 160 cm bed, storage cupboards and above all an adjoining and private bathroom in the bedroom (shower, double washbasin, WC). The 4th and last bedroom is also equipped with 160 queen size bedding but also a bathroom (bath, shower, double sink and WC). A laundry room and a separate WC. WIFI connection. All-inclusive services (sheets, towels and end-of-stay cleaning). Our animal friends are accepted under good conduct. Baby equipment on request.
