Lagrasse's heritage is remarkable, with its abbey opening its doors to you, but also when you stroll through the historic cobbled streets to discover its local shops and crafts, a market is also held every week with a warm atmosphere. During the season, swimming is permitted to refresh yourself along the Orbieu River with its small beaches. Beautiful hikes are to be enjoyed around the village with breathtaking landscapes.
Lagrasse is a great place to stay for a vacation. All shops are located in the village (2 grocery stores, several restaurants and bars, bakery, newsagent, pharmacy, etc.). Furthermore, its central location in the Aude department allows you to discover all the region's gems within an hour of the cottage: the beautiful Mediterranean beaches, the medieval city of Carcassonne, the Canal du Midi, the Cathar castles, and even Narbonne la Romaine.
The cottage is a self-contained studio located on the first floor of a village house adjoining other apartments. It opens onto a large living room with an open, fully equipped kitchen, a seating area with a sofa and TV, a dining table, and a 1x180cm Japanese king-size bed, as well as a separate bathroom with a shower, toilet, and sink.
Sheets, towels, and end-of-stay cleaning are included. Fiber optic Wi-Fi connection. Shared laundry room with washing machine and dryer. Public parking nearby. Pets are welcome only upon request from the owner and under good behavior. Two additional beds are available in the bedroom opposite the studio (check with the owners for details).
