CHATEAU MAYLANDIE – SYRAH

Halfway between Carcassonne and Narbonne, on the route to the Cathar Country sites and abbeys, this set of two independent gîtes welcomes you to the heart of a wine estate with a tasting cellar. Located on the edge of a village, they offer a peaceful and authentic setting, just thirty minutes from the Mediterranean Sea and close to Fontfroide Abbey.

Each comfortable cottage features reversible air conditioning to adapt to all seasons. The interior consists of an entrance opening onto a bright living room with a furnished, shaded terrace offering views of the vineyards. The fully equipped kitchen includes a freezer. The sleeping area includes two bedrooms, one with a 160 cm bed, the other with two 90 cm beds, as well as a bathroom and toilet. A mezzanine converted into a living room completes the ensemble. Electric heating or air conditioning are regulated according to the meter reading.

Outside, the enclosed 13x9 meter swimming pool with a small and large pool is open from May 1st to September 30th (not accessible to pets). A summer kitchen with a covered terrace and barbecue allows you to fully enjoy outdoor meals. The enclosed and shaded garden, with a second barbecue, offers an ideal relaxation area.

Housekeeping, bed linens, and towels are included. Pets are welcome for an additional €15/day. A perfect setting to recharge your batteries and discover the riches of the local region.
