1

Step 1

From the stele, go up the rue du Château. In the bend, continue by the path opposite, then turn right. At the irrigation well (cairn 1), cross the D 10 and climb the path opposite. He climbs to the top of the Baîral waterfall (cairn 2). Go up the Coumobello stream (sheltered from the rock hollowed out by erosion, (cairn 3).
2

Step 2

Take the path on the left. Exit the woods and cross the Lacamp plateau (cairn 4, pasture moor dotted with ruined sheepfolds or jasses). Continue to the right at the next two intersections.
3

Step 3

Take the path on the left for 80 m, the path on the right for 180 m and the path on the right. Go through the gate at the entrance to the Coste oak grove (Camp Rouge (cairn 5) opens a window onto the village). Pass near the Pique-Rouge area (cairn 6). Take the wider path on the left (the vines are spread out between 300 and 500 m in altitude (cairn 7); opposite, Montgaillard dominates the Torgan valley), then the D 10 on the left.
4

Step 4

In the bend, go right along the vineyards (“outside houses”: vine huts (cairn 8). Take the track on the left for 50 m.
5

Step 5

Fork to the right on the path which winds between the vines (cairn 9). He walks around a grove.
6

Step 6

Cross the D 510 and take the path opposite. Cross the ford and zigzag between the vines (subject to the prevailing winds (cairn 10)). Pass the schist quarry (cairn 11), walk along the Torgan and return to the village (in the castle cellar (cairn 12), the wine is still being raised; perhaps you will hear near the Saint-Jacques church, ( cairn 13), the song of rogations asking for a good harvest).

Be careful, the fire risk is often high, especially in summer, and can lead to flower bed closures. Find out before you go consulting the fire risk map for outdoor activities.
Fires strictly prohibited. Do not smoke and never throw cigarette butts in nature. Fires are numerous and catastrophic in our region. In the event of a fire or accident: give alert 18 or 112 from a cell phone.
Protect yourself from the sun and take enough water with you.
Avoid picking flowers and plants. Take all your trash. Close fences and keep dogs on a leash in pasture areas, villages and protected areas.

Mountain bike routes: the routes are often shared with hikers or other users (cars, tractors, etc.). Be careful and always anticipate that a pedestrian may be present around a bend to have time to brake if necessary. Pedestrians have priority in principle, slow down at crossings or stop if the configuration of the terrain requires you to do so.
Thank you and happy hiking!

Excellent hike! I would rate it medium instead of easy because of the length. It took us about 3 hours. Good mix of shade and sun. Great views and beautiful scenery. Reasonably well marked although we took a couple of wrong turns that we figured out quickly and corrected. The village itself is very picturesque.
