1

Step 1

From the Place de l'Eglise, take the rue de la Tour on the left towards Montbrun, then the rue du Mûrier which then becomes a small path through the vineyards.
2

Step 2

Take the small path to the right which soon joins a wider path; take it on the right. Leave it to go down to the left in the woods by the path. Climb the western flank and climb the steps to the left as far as the Tour d'Escales (this recently restored square building dates back to the eleventh and twelfth centuries, a listed monument).
3

Step 3

Go down to the track by other steps. At the crossroads, continue opposite towards Mourel de l'Aureillo. At the foot of the big rocks, ignore the path and climb the path to the left. In the bend, continue opposite; cross the track and continue straight on the path that crosses the pine forest.
4

Step 4

Go down to take the track on the left and go around Mourel de l'Aureillo (153 m).
5

Step 5

In a bend, leave the track for the path on the right. It winds down through the pine forest then joins a track; take it on the left.
6

Step 6

Shortly before the crossroads, at the foot of the tower, take the path to the right. He goes around the tower and then descends towards the plain. Continue straight on along the path through the vineyards.
7

Step 7

At the intersection, take the path to the left and find the fork to go. By the route used on the outward journey, reach the starting point.

Be careful, the fire risk is often high, especially in summer, and can lead to flower bed closures. Find out before you go consulting the fire risk map for outdoor activities.
Fires strictly prohibited. Do not smoke and never throw cigarette butts in nature. Fires are numerous and catastrophic in our region. In the event of a fire or accident: give alert 18 or 112 from a cell phone.
Protect yourself from the sun and take enough water with you.
Avoid picking flowers and plants. Take all your trash. Close fences and keep dogs on a leash in pasture areas, villages and protected areas.

Mountain bike routes: the routes are often shared with hikers or other users (cars, tractors, etc.). Be careful and always anticipate that a pedestrian may be present around a bend to have time to brake if necessary. Pedestrians have priority in principle, slow down at crossings or stop if the configuration of the terrain requires you to do so.
Thank you and happy hiking!
