A duo of breathtaking and ideally matched tenors, in a virtuoso dialogue around Italian vocality: Emiliano Gonzalez Toro and Zachary Wilder ignite with their racy and voluptuous timbres the most beautiful pieces of the early Baroque. With A room of mirrors, the I Gemelli ensemble offers subtle variations around the tenor duo. Voices and instruments respond to each other here in a richly contrasting palette of colors and expressions: so many echoes, reflections, plays of symmetry and ricochets, which make this “hall of mirrors” a joyful ode to twinhood.
