Descriptif détaillé :

From the stone stele onward, on the edge of the village, route de Termenès, close to the old municipal weighing scales, take the D10 which will take you to the col du Prat.
The pech de la Tuillerie, close to the D10, is a former extraction site which was used in the production of tiles and other types of rough pottery (1). From the col du Prat, the path goes into an undergrowth of white oak trees lined along some plots, often lying fallow (2). Situated amongst the box trees, the broom and the ausines (a type of holm oak), all formerly touched by the ravaging flames, the old Dernacueillette path reaches a little pass overlooking the valley of Maisons (3). The Lavalette site, a “geological crush”, displays a huge cliff with many red and black veins (4). Below, the mill with its barrage and its two millstones is now private property (5). Protected by holm oak and box trees, ancient caves used to serve as refuge for humans (6). The hike goes uphill along the Devès stream with lots of rush, then follows the Sautadou track which is suitable for motor vehicles (7) and the track leading to Roc d’en Jaune, where the Scots pine trees cling to the slope (8). At a height of 527 meters, this ochry mineral peak towers over the Davejean depression (9). At last, the cedar trees with their blue needles and the thorny heather (some of the thorns calcined) line the descent back to the village (10).
